First Fabulous Mommy feature goes to an amazing Queen. Mrs. Lakeisha Gholston. Mama bear to three adorable cubs who currently resides in Chicago, Illinois and is a Senior Clinical Research Associate.
The Insane Mama: What the best part of motherhood for you?
LaKeisha: The best part of motherhood is being able to love, teach, and create memories with my children.
The Insane Mama: What’s the hardest part of motherhood?
LaKeisha: The hardest part of motherhood would have to be seeing one of your children in pain.
The Insane Mama: What would you like your children to remember about their childhood?
Lakeisha: I would for my children to remember the quality time that we spend with each other. Every night that I am at home with them we cuddle together for at least an hour to watch tv and eat dessert.
The Insane Mama: Are your children picky eaters? If so what are their current favorite foods?
LaKeisha: Yes! My oldest is 9 years old and she is the pickiest. Believe it or not she is a health freak and makes healthy food choices (Better than me
). Her favorite foods are Caesar salad, tomatoes, shrimp and Alfredo pasta. The younger two eat anything.
The Insane Mama: What does self care mean to you?
Lakeisha: Self care means taking any necessary steps to maintain and manage of self.
