Twenty Questions To Ask Your Children Other Than “How was school today?”

How was school today? I can’t possibly be the only parent who asks this only to get a dry answer like “it was okay”. Here it was, I thought this was a loaded question that allowed my son the opportunity to tell me everything that happened from the first bell to the last. Apparently not. After some poking and prodding I discovered a series of questions that will allow you to get the kiddos to open up more. Check them out and tell me if they worked for you!

  2. Did anyone do anything nice for you?
  3. Did anyone push your buttons today?
  4. Tell me something you learned about a friend today.
  5. Who do you want to make friends with but haven’t yet?
